To be honest, I didn't plan to build an app, and I still sometimes wonder if the world really needed another breathwork platform.

But even with all the resources at our disposal, people are still struggling to make breathwork a consistent part of their lives. Something isn't working — and I don't think it's the content.

Yoga has been part of my life since childhood, but I took a deeper route when I trained at a traditional ashram in the Sivananda lineage over a decade ago, and have been practicing and teaching since. Strict, unglamorous, and very real, the ashram practiced asana, prāṇāyāma, meditation, and karma yoga, diligently and without distraction. I was struck by how a handful of simple, consistent practices could create such profound internal shifts.

Still grew from the question that followed: can there be something that preserves the depth of the classical yogic path, while remaining accessible to modern life? I wanted to design something that you naturally want to stay with, always available to you — and a path that is easy to return to when life takes over. The whole journey is built with the hope that, eventually, you won't need this app at all. That is my wish for you.

So if you’ve somehow found your way here, honestly, welcome and thank you.

Raja Yoga is experiential. You understand it by doing it, not reading about it. Begin with your first 5 sessions – a guided glimpse into the path through breath work and meditation. They’re free, and only 10 minutes each.

I wish you the best in your practice.

OUR values

मौन

MAUNA

At the heart of Still is mauna, silence. Not just silence of sound, but quieting all that is unnecessary.

No notifications. No streak pressure. No dopamine hooks. No decision fatigue with endless choices.

The app is intentionally minimal, designed to keep your attention on the practice, not the screen.

अभ्यास

ABHYASA

Still provides the structure and guidance to support abhyasa, the discipline and regular observance that anchor your practice. There are times when practice will fall away, and that’s okay. Life happens. Abhyasa is the act of tending to the practice. Showing up, again and again, with respect and without judgment.

Structured, but flexible and forgiving, the journey is designed so that you can move at your own pace, take a break when you need it, and return without guilt.

वैराग्य

vairagya

The ultimate goal is self-reliance.
Vairagya means non-attachment or dispassion. Not getting stuck to anything. Over time, the practice becomes yours. And you won't even need us, or the app.

Outgrowing us is the point.

from india, for the world

Still is a small, independent company from India, run by Aastha Gupta – founder, teacher, and practitioner. Our principles are rooted in classical pranayama from Hatha Yoga and the path of Raja Yoga.

The Yoga Sutras define yoga as Yogaḥ Chitta-Vṛtti-Nirodhaḥ - the quietening of the fluctuations of the mind. Everything here is centred on that.

We think of you as a sadhak, a practitioner, not a customer, and design every detail with intention. We chose to stay small and grow slowly so we could remain aligned with our yogic values.
